I heard this place is finally shutting down and being demolished. I had some memories here but to be frank I always though this place sucked and would fail.
I remembered right before it opened (mid 1998) I asked one of the developers or whatever he was, about parking and he said it wasn't free... I was perplexed, not free? Why would anyone pay to go to this mall when a much better mall, Dadeland, was 5 mins away?
This was a very long time ago and I'm surprised it lasted this long. This place was a dump 10 years after it opened. If it wasn't for the AMC it would have died in the early 2000's.
